US Soldier Faces Prison Over Obama Eligibility

I stole this from an E-mail I received.  Take a look and let me know what you think.

Would love to hear other people perspective!

Take a look... Rant... Rave...  Just give voice to your Message!

Lt. Col. Terry Lakin is facing possible imprisonment, and it has been reported
that Army officials have gone so far as to "suggest" that he submit to a "mental evaluation" ... all because he has the audacity to ask Barack Hussein Obama to supply a copy of his actual birth certificate.

During his 18-year career as a flight-surgeon in the United States Army, Lakin has put his life on the line in defense of the United States Constitution.  And he's more than willing to do so again.

But before Lakin places himself, yet again, in harm's way, he's asking Barack Hussein Obama to do the very same thing that he, and countless others who honorably serve our country are, in so many cases,  REQUIRED to do... namely, supply a copy of an actual birth certificate; and thereby prove that the orders he gives as "Commander-in-Chief" are, indeed, LAWFUL.

Why go to all the trouble?  Lakin answers the question best himself: "I feel I have no choice but the distasteful one of inviting my own court martial. The Constitution matters. The truth matters."

And so, a  brave soldier, who has placed himself in harm's way, and is willing to do so again, is being harassed and faces possible imprisonment because Barack Hussein Obama... REFUSES to honor the Constitution... REFUSES to prove that he is not a FRAUD and a USURPER... REFUSES to prove that the orders he is giving our brave men and women in uniform are lawful... and REFUSES to release his actual birth certificate.

Of course you won't hear about Lt Col. Lakin's plight on the nightly news or the front page of the New York Times.  In fact, the Western Center for Journalism is only one of a handful of credible news organizations calling attention to Lakin's plight.

And that's why our mission is so important.  Truth be told, everyone needs to hear this story and you can make that happen.  Your TAX-DEDUCTIBLE donation will make it possible for us to cover the stories the Mainstream Media refuses to cover... tell Lakin's story to the world... keep the pressure on Barack Hussein Obama... and send a clear message to him and his allies in the Obama-Media that questions concerning his eligibility are not simply going to go away.

Of course, as a loyal reader of the news and information that the Western Center for Journalism sends your way... you already know much of what the Mainstream Media is not reporting.

CFIF EagleYou already know that Barack Hussein Obama has outright REFUSED to release his actual birth certificate and that hundreds-of-thousands of dollars have been spent to OBSTRUCT requests that he supply his actual birth certificate.

CFIF EagleYou already know that the document that Barack Hussein Obama claims is his "birth certificate" is NOT a valid long form birth certificate and that, until recently, the state of Hawaii did not even accept that very same document as proof that an individual is a Hawaiian citizen because that document can be issued to individuals not actually born in Hawaii.

CFIF EagleAnd you also know that when Lakin (an officer with 18 years of service in the Army) stated his intention to refuse deployment orders until his presumed "Commander-in-Chief" proves that he is eligible to hold the post, he was "counseled," threatened with jail time and encouraged to undergo psychiatric evaluation.

Specifically, , Lakin received a reprimand which stated, in part:

"On 30 March 2010, this command became aware of your intentions to refuse to follow deployment orders. Your stated reason for refusal was your belief that the election of the President of the United States is invalid.... Failure to follow your reassignment and/or deployment orders may result in adverse action including court-martial... If found guilty … you could be sentenced to dismissal from the service... forefeiture (sic) of all pay and allowances; and confinement for a period of months or years in a military prison."

But here's something else the pro-Obama Mainstream Media will NOT report.

If the Army follows through on its threat to court martial Lakin, he would have the right of discovery... meaning that his defense team could compel Barack Hussein Obama to produce the document that he has REFUSED to produce... his actual birth certificate.

That's why Barack Hussein Obama's allies in the media are NOT covering this story. They don't want to the American people to know what is going on... they don't want the American people to start asking pesky questions.

In short, they don't want the American people to know the truth.

And that's why your tax-deductible donation to the Western Center for Journalism is so important. It will make it possible for us to continue covering this story and keep pressure on Barack Hussein Obama and the Mainstream media so that Americans WILL start asking those pesky questions.

Is the biggest political crime in American history taking place right before our eyes? Is the man in the White House INELIGIBLE, according to the Constitution, to sit in the Oval Office... is he a FRAUD... a USURPER?

Barack Hussein Obama could put the issue to rest right now by simply releasing his actual birth certificate.

He's dug in his heels. He has teams of lawyers fighting efforts to get him to release his actual birth certificate, while his underlings look down their noses at the American people and call these legitimate requests “garbage.”

And the one pivotal question that those who attempt to dismiss the controversy cannot answer is:  If Barack Hussein Obama has nothing to hide, what’s the problem? The more he resists, the more you have to wonder.

Meanwhile the liberal press is trying to drag this story into a dark alley and bludgeon it to death.

It’s time for you and me to weigh in and force the issue. Let's call-out the liberal media.

Your tax-deductible donation will make it possible for us to continue covering this story and send a clear message to Barack Hussein Obama that there is nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

Spartans: What is Your Profession!?

I love the movie 300, it really paints a vivid picture of proper team work, preparation, and the determination to stand in the face of true adversity.

Luckily, none of us are likely to be in that type of "life/death" situation.  But that doesn't mean we can't learn a thing or two from men in history who have stood before unimaginable odds and won.  Or people who had given their lives for a greater cause.  The training...  The Dedication of a cause bigger than oneself is so completely awe-inspiring!

Which is another reason I love Greek/Roman History and Mythology.  Between Greece and Rome was, at the time, the Pinnacle of Civilization.  They had Scholars, Free Thinkers, Artists, Entrepreneurs, Aristocrats, Dirty Politicians and even Entertainment from Lions in the arena to Actors in the theater.  Freedom allowed them to create that world and some of the greatest men emerged from this era.  Not only in Mythology but also in actual history!

Among these were the mighty Centurions.  These were the fiercest of warriors in Rome and most feared in the world but also the most admired!  The only way to attain a Centurion Commission was through blood, sweat, and tears.  They led at the Front of the battle with Strength, Integrity, and Honor.

Their lessons are not dead today but in fact, live on throughout history.  A Centurion was a leader of men with the highest of morals, the strongest principals, and unmatched self-discipline.  And there have been a lot of them over the years.  Some have made huge impacts on how a few thousand, while others changed the course of our entire world!
We should all learn to lead with integrity, strength and honor because at the end of the day, we are the ones who have to sleep with our decisions.  Learn from Great Men in our History...  Live out those lessons...  Enjoy Your Life.

Satisfy your curiosity and learn what it really takes to be a Centurion in Today's Society!

Passion – Driving People Since the Beginning

Finding one's passion is like turning on a light in a room that's been dark for centuries.  At first it's blinding, but once you can see, ANYTHING becomes possible!

I've been reading Crush IT by Gary Vaynerchuk for the last few days.  I'm half way through the book right now and I have to say...  It's truly an awesome read!

He started working in a Liquor Store with his father when he was 15 yrs old...  But before that, he was a proven entrepreneur.  By age 8, he had a successful lemonade stand franchise with 7 different Stands and friends working it for him.  Then he moved onto bigger and better things...  Trading and selling baseball cards where he dominated until he was pulled out of the malls and into his dad's liquor store!

He already built a career before he was even old enough to pay taxes!  Now that's awesome and it just goes to show you what you can do with a lot of passion and determination!

So as I'm reading the book, I'm thinking about my passion.  What is it that drives me the most?  What gets me up early in the morning?  What keeps me from sleeping at night? And the answer to those questions started out in 2006.

When I was first introduced to Network Marketing.  The idea of working for myself and making untold millions was radically changing how I saw my life.  Thinking it was possible for ME, kept me up all night and dreaming during the day.  Every time I thought about the possibilities my palms would sweat, my heart would race, and my mind would frolic with delusions of grandeur.

I had been sold an idea. Now it wasn't the money that kept me up, it was the idea of the life that money would buy.  But that wasn't my passion, it was my dream.  It took me a long time to tell the difference and really "nail down" what my passion truly was.  Truthfully, it was very recently that I finally discovered my true passion.

Last weekend I was talking with my Dad about the book and he asked me, "What are you passionate about?"  To that I said, "Helping People."  I know what you're thinking, "That's a really vague idea," and I know it is but I couldn't think of anything at the time which would really describe what it is I really live and breathe for.

Since then, I've had time to think and define what it is I love the most in life.  I realized I had gotten excited when I started in network marketing because I was developing myself and learning new things.  New things I thought most people didn't know.  Secrets that were hidden and nobody realized it.  I loved the mystery and the idea that I was becoming a better person.  That's when it hit me!

I finally got it!  My passion was in Helping People Develop.  Helping them find a greater cause that would inevitably propel them towards a life more rewarding for them.  This seems a little too idealistic, right?  Maybe so.  But I've discovered for myself the rewards of helping someone change their life for the better.  Honestly, it's got to be one of the most rewarding processes anyone can be a part of.

Now you might disagree but for me, this is the reason I live and breath.  Of course, I still want to make tons of money but really helping people achieve their goals is how I want to do it.  But it all starts with me... everyday.  And that's an exciting idea to me.

So find out what's exciting to you and post it in the comments below.  I'd love to see what everyone else is passionate about!

Multi Level Marketing – MLM Revealed

MLM's or Multi Level Marketing is a viable business model for the everyday individual looking to make a little bit extra cash or build an organization for a residual income.

The structure is designed to create a marketing and sales force by compensating promoters of company products not only for sales they personally generate, but also for the sales of other promoters they introduce to the company, creating a downline of distributors and a hierarchy of multiple levels of compensation in the form of a pyramid.

The products and company are usually marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing.

MLM's or network marketing has received a bad name over time.  Some of the Giants in this field are Amway, Avon, and Mary-Kay.  There are a lot of others but those 3 are some of the oldest and are directly responsible for negative reputation MLM's have received over the years.

When Amway first got started back in the 70's, some of the distributors actually started to trick their prospects by inviting them to a "party."  When the prospect would show up, they would be greeted and this "party" would suddenly turn into an opportunity meeting.  Needless to say, this was not the most effective way to market they could have used.

This kind of marketing actually started to have a very negative affect on the people around them.  People quit trusting them and soon their whole downline started to disintegrate very quickly.

One key fact that I believe has been overlooked in most MLM company's is before someone should be building any kind of organization, they should learn how to retail the product easily and effectively.  This creates a customer base of individuals loyal to the product you are selling giving the distributor monthly retail commissions that could support their new business venture.

Once they have developed their customer base, they would then be able to start training other people how do create their business in the same form creating a downline.  A customer base and a downline is what gives a distributor their residual income.

This is how I build my business.  First retail to cover the overhead of the business.  Then teach others.  How simple could that be, but there are a lot of people out there promoting the latest and greatest with no idea how they are going to cover their overhead.

Don't get stuck with an opportunity with no way to cover the basic cost in business, overhead...  What it costs someone to keep a business up and running.  Ask questions and make sure it's a type of product that can be sold for a retail value and that the product is actually in demand and not a new line of products you have to convince people about.

Stop Failing on New’s Years

Every year around this time people all over the world are shirking their resolutions they made only a week ago! Shocking...  I know.  Statistics say, only 3% of the people who make "New Year's Resolutions" actually follow through with them all year long.  Those are incredibly high odds stacked against anyone who dares to resolve to be better this year than the last.  But these are the kind of odds we Leaders yearn for...  To test our strength and, most importantly, our resolve!

You know, that's a funny word, resolve.  It's a word that implies power, force, tenacity, free will, and more importantly...  Determination.  Yet we take it for granted and pin it up every year with delusions of grandeur that we never actually intend to keep.  I think it's just something most people do as a ritual of "Ringing in the New Year" than they do for the betterment of themselves.

So, why all this doom and gloom?  Because it's important to understand perceptions others have and ones we may have before we can ever hope to do anything about them.  Stephen Covey writes about our personal perception in his book, "7 Habits of Highly Effective People." Only he calls it "Your Paradigm," which I like, by the way.  I like it because it's another one of those words with implied power and mystery.

In "7 Habits" Mr. Covey talks about how someone's paradigms have lasting effects in how we play out our roles in life.

...whether they shift us in positive or negative directions, whether they are instantaneous or developmental, paradigm shifts move us from one way of seeing the world to another.  And those shifts create powerful change.  Our paradigms, correct or incorrect, are the sources of our attitudes and behaviors, and ultimately our relationships with others.

That was the most important paragraph I've read so far this year.  Our paradigm, how we view our world around us... or our perception of our world, is the basis of how we react to circumstances in our world.

Such as the person who views themselves as the victim.  Every confrontation they encounter only hardens their perception, or paradigm that they are truly a victim of circumstance.  They are more anxious and take things personally when they aren't meant to be personal.  They live in a world where they actually believe to some degree or another that people are just out to get them, to watch them fail... miserably!

Or how about the person that believes there is only good in the world and no harm will come to them if they stick to their beliefs.  They are positive and trusting, trying to help everyone who comes their way.  They live in a world where there are no muggers, rapist, or criminals, just misunderstood people trying to express themselves.

Now these are both extreme paradigms to live in but none the less, everyone has met someone at one time or another that would fit into one of these categories or another.  Most would agree that neither perception of the world is correct or healthy, one might get you killed and the other might wind you up all alone in an empty house.

But you may be surprised to find out that once in awhile each and every one of us puts on the "Victim Cap" or the "Cap of Innocence."  And it never works out the way we want it to, either.  But if we are open to ourselves and to others around us we can shift our paradigm to a more realistic and useful perception.

WARNING: If you find yourself in the corner grocery store angry about buying a loaf of bread for $5 and thinking about all the ways those Mean Corporate Executives are spending the thousands or millions of people's $5 bills.  Stop yourself and ask, "Is this a realistic paradigm I'm living?"

My phrase for 2010 is "Convictions in Action" because it signifies the one area I need to work on in my life more than anything...  Procrastination!  Yeah, that's my warm cuddly enemy that zaps all kinds of success from my life.  So this Year my Resolution is to BE PROACTIVE.  I use both phrases throughout the day.

Like when my wife asked me to make the bed this morning.  I thought, okay no big deal.  Then, after 2 movies I came upstairs to change clothes and the bed still wasn't made.  As I started to grab my clothes and take a shower I stopped, sighed and thought, "Be Proactive.  These are your Convictions in Action."  Then turned.  Made the bed.  And went on about my business.  It only took me about 2 minutes but, it was the act of simply delaying that was about to kill my resolution before it even started.  Besides I knew my wife wasn't going to be annoyed with me when she got home since I had done what she asked.

It's time we all started to be more Proactive in our own lives.  With our spouses, children, friends, and neighbors.  Broaden your resolve and follow through with a resolution that liberates your independence so, others that need to can depend on you for support.

Most Memorable Christmas

Snow Flakes
As Christmas day draws near, I find myself (as I do every year) going back over the years, recognizing what got me here, and for the most part... Reveling in nostalgia. Some holidays past stand out more than others, and I can remember all the way back to 4th grade easily. 4th Grade was pretty awesome because I got a whole bunch of 12" Tall G.I. JOES... Well more like 4 but that's a whole bunch when you're that age!

Some I spent with long distant family and friends. Others were spent with only a few people. I don't remember ever having a bad Christmas... Well, that's not entirely true. One year, when I was really young, my mom didn't get me the correct Mutant Ninja Turtle so, as any young boy would do, I voiced my opinion in a very defiant and boisterous manner. Needless to say, I was sent to my room.

But the most memorable Christmas I can remember comes back to me every year, and it's the most important lesson I ever learned...

When I was about 12 yrs old I started acting a little more unruly than usual. I was beginning my rebellious phase, or at least trying to! That entire year I stepped on peoples feelings, did what I wanted, started smoking, and I pretty much just stayed grounded all year! This whole year was really a lot like going through the local judicial system.

I would get caught doing something stupid. A good Samaritan (AKA, one of my sisters) would see me doing whatever it was that I wasn't supposed to be doing and go inform the authorities. An officer (AKA, MOM, a neighbor, or a relative) would come and arrest me. I would be brought before The Judge (AKA, MOM) and a hearing would start. The Prosecution (AKA, whoever caught me) would present their case (I saw Adam doing __________). I would confirm this was true and then would be handed down the sentencing. Generally a grounding, a spanking, or if it was bad enough, BOTH!

I would serve my time. Meet with the parole board (AKA, MOM). After passing the Parole Hearing, I would then be swept in front of the probation officer (AKA, MOM). Who would then inform me of my community service (ie, mowing the lawn, dinner dishes, etc.). Then my PO would also let me know that under no uncertain terms was I allowed to... do whatever got me here to begin with or there would be little possibility of quick parole on the next round.

After a time my mom got tired of me being in her court room. I was just tired of people telling on me! So, my mom, in her motherly wisdom started scheming.

It was getting close to Christmas and I think was starting to act a little bit better, still a hanging on to a little bit of the rebellion. Winning small battles but other than that, I wasn't really causing any trouble. So, I was looking forward to Christmas, thinking I had behaved myself long enough to at least get something good.

So there we were, Christmas Eve, the day where we are all allowed to open one present before Christmas. Sometimes they were picked for you and other times you got to pick them yourself. Well, mine got picked for me. Our dear friend Jimmy, who worked at the local coal mines, had given me mine. It was huge and heavy! I was so excited, I didn't have the slightest clue what it could be! With exuberant glee I tore open the package to find a Big... Huge... Piece of Coal in my lap. That's right, it was coal. The first and only time Santa was able to get a hold of some coal and deliver it to my house. This was no ordinary piece of coal you would put in the stockings, this fit inside a Sprite 12 pack! I think he had been stock piling this stuff for years!

With tears in my eyes, they asked me if I wanted to start treating people with the respect and dignity they deserved. I nodded a weak nod and hugged my mom. It got real sappy, you know how it goes. I was then given my real present which I kept for the next 10 yrs or better. It was my favorite plaid shirt.

It wasn't my favorite because of the style, or colors, or how it looked on me. It was my favorite because of the lesson I learned to get that shirt.
"People should be treated with unyielding respect, dignity, and honor. WE are all miracles, and should be treated in that manner."

Now, that you've read mine please tell me what you think and also tell me what your most memorable Christmas was. I would love to hear from some of you guys.

Post a comment below and tell me about your most memorable Christmas you can remember.

Thanks for reading and have a safe and fun Christmas!

Define Leadership

Define leadership... A few weeks ago, some of my friends asked me to define leadership. Which excited me since, I love challenges and employing new opportunities to get the people around me to think more "outside the box" instead of the more normal, circumstantial thinking.

So, I asked them, "Well, what do you think a leader is?"
Here are some of the answers they gave me:

-Leadership is a person who is well liked in a position of power.
-It's someone who is admired.
-Someone who has respect and influence with people.
-A person who has authority in a company.

These are all great descriptions of a leader but, it took them almost 20 minutes or more to come up with these ideas. See, most people have a vague idea what a leader is and what leadership does but few think about it enough to truly describe it's full potential.

Even though, they come in contact with leadership on a daily basis, and it's effects can last months, years, and even centuries, people just don't put a whole lot of stock into this area of life. And there are a multitude of reasons why this has happened... Maybe some have become complacent, self-centered, or even power hungry... Either way, sometimes people just need a little reminder of some of the important things in life.

Now, lets think about the word "leadership"...

The word "leadership" is used to describe certain actions, positions, and attitudes of individuals, groups, and those with an influencial role within society.

Leadership implies a lot of power and popularity. When we think of a leader or someone in a leadership position we think of the President, Congressmen, CEO's, Entrepreneurs, Mom's and Dad's. These are all positions (not actual people) in our society we associate freedom, influence, and power whether, it's political, business, or simply household power. We all regard the people holding these positions in high esteem and think they have it made... (Or at the very least, we think they're doing something right.) We put them on a pedestal and think, "Man what I wouldn't give to be the _____________ (insert position here)."

Though these positions in and of themselves have little in common with one another (since some are political, business, and/or household), there is definately a single common factor in all of those positions listed above... It's relationships. Relationships with people determine the success or failure in every aspect of our lives. Let's face it, without people... What's the point?

Now, that might seem a little bit extreme and you might even be saying, "I didn't need any help when I replaced the door knob in my house last week." On the surface you're right, but you still needed people to manufacture, ship, and sell the door knob to you. And if anyone of those relationships failed you wouldn't have been able to fix the door when you did.

So, whenever I see a leader, I always look at the relationships he or she has with the people around them. How they treat their team is essentially their public portfolio of success. Watch some of the leaders around you, evaluate their relationships, and determine for yourself the effectiveness of their leadership. Remember, this is about observation and learning, not gossip. If their relationships aren't strong, then you may see their effectiveness as a leader compromised. But if their relationships are strong, they'll have a greater influence.

Leadership is a BIG topic. There are so many different styles, mentalities, and roles that ecompass everything about leadership. So, I'll cut this short and give you my definition of leadership:

Leadership - the Art of expanding social influence to accomplish a certain goal.

One day, everyone will be called on to lead... Will you Rise to the occassion?

Here's some recommened books I have found to be extremely helpful in developing my leadership skills by understanding relationships, mentality, and roles in my own life.

Traffic: The Life Blood of the Internet

One of the BIGGEST questions asked by new Internet Marketers is, "What is the Quickest Simplest Way to get visitors to my site?"

That question in and of itself says that you have a product to promote, the website is ready, and the only thing I'm lacking is the Traffic. You see Traffic should be the last thing a new or old Internet Marketer should be worried about.

As Traffic may be the life blood on which your business relies upon, you definitely shouldn't be worried about it until after you are an affiliate or have a product of your own to sell them.

Then your web copy needs to be done and be able to provide them with valuable reasons on why you are the solution to their problem. Then the web page needs to be set up and proper SEO done, on-page and off-page.

So now I'm going to assume that you have done all of that since you are still reading this and haven't closed this window out, scurrying back your browser fixing the things you left out. If you haven't done these things then please continue reading but you are going to need to understand that this is the last step in the process.

So on with the Answer to one of Biggest questions asked today by New Internet Marketers

One of the first things to understand is, in order to have a website that people will want to keep returning to, you need to gear it towards a specific group of people wanting a specific thing, this is called "targeting."

Then you need to make sure you have some solid information that changes frequently but is still relevant to your target audience. If you are using a sales page then have a blog that people are introduced to After the Sales process is over. Not before or during, otherwise people may leave your sales page never to return and you just screwed yourself out of money! Now, the Relevant but continuously changing content will take care of people getting back to your site. Still you need to know how to get them to your site in the first place, right?

One sure fire way to get people to your site is PPC (Pay Per Click) and is easily set up for autopilot. Google offers great PPC campaigns but you need to make sure you have done your Keyword Research Properly, otherwise you are going to loose a lot of money by sending irrelevant visitors to your site. (You see why this is the last thing you should worry about yet?)

I'm not going to cover Keyword Research in this Article because at this point you should have already done it! Another way you can get people to your site is, by starting a JV (Joint Venture) with some other Affiliates. A JV is an agreement between you and one or more persons that you will give them a certain percentage of the revenue their traffic generates for your product.

JV Partnerships are very powerful, if you have the right people, it doesn't cost you any money out of your pocket... it just takes a bit off the top of the actual revenue for your product. With some very powerful affiliates helping you out, you can easily expect to see an increase in traffic seemingly over night without you doing anything!

Now the ways to get traffic to your site which I have talked about so far cost you money, either up-front out of pocket or off the top of the sales your site makes. How about some FREE Traffic? Yeah, I thought you would get excited over that!

One way to get Free Traffic is through Social Networking. Social Networks offers a great way to get people to your site. You simply create a profile and then go around through the forums & groups making friends and leading them to your site or blog in a way that isn't pressured. Once you pressure people, your chance of actually getting them to your site severely diminishes.

Another way to get Free Traffic to your site is through good SEO. Now, if you don't understand SEO then you are probably going to need to do one of two things... Hire an SEO Expert or buy a product that teaches SEO. Either way, SEO isn't exactly free but can give you more visitors on autopilot than anything else!

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, which means your website is optimized for search engines to view and rank it according to the relevancy of your site to your keywords. (Again, see why this is the last thing you should worry about?) Search Engines rank websites according to a variety of different things. Two of them are the relevancy of the words searched for and the amount of incoming links called "back links."

Back linking is also another story for another time but basically you can get other websites to host your link for either a small cost or a trade of links (called link exchange).

So, to Sum things up really quick, Traffic is the last thing you should worry about but there are even more ways than what I have described here to get traffic to your site. The less Traffic costs the more time consuming it can and will be. The more it costs the less time consuming it will be. Most people either have more money than time or more time than money.

Take care and I'll be seeing you around!
